The photomicrograph below illustrates The membrane-specific fluorochrome 3,3'-dipentyloxacarbocyanine iodide (DiO) used as a tracer with a green wide-pass WB fluorescence cube. Note that the excitation and emission spectra (green) have considerable overlap.
